Breakfasts and brunching done, plus a hell of a lot of walking no doubt, and we’re onto the more substantial feasts of the day. Whilst we normally wouldn’t plan to go out for a full on lunch and dinner every day when we’re away, when you’re in New York, it’d be rude not to, hey?! We managed to squeeze a healthy number of restaurants into a 5 day break and we’re now having to hit the gym hard to try and make up for it!
So it’s been a while since my last post and I have no excuse other than the fact I’ve been sleeping and working A LOT post-NYC. Rather than do my usual travel diary style post, I thought for my New York travels a few posts focussing on where to eat, drink and explore would be more fitting, given we totally planned the holiday around food and cocktails! First up’s my favourite breakfasts and brunch spots. If you’re heading stateside any time soon, be sure to check some of these out, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Last week we spent 6 days in New York and we had THE best time. I can honestly say I think it might have been the best holiday I’ve ever had, although my bank balance and sleeping patterns are well and truly paying for it now! I’ll be sharing my thoughts soon on where I think you should eat, drink and what you should do if you’re planning a trip there soon, but whilst I go and sleep for a week, here are my favourite moments from the trip to fill the gap…
