It’s been a while since I posted my latest luxury loves but after spending the last couple of evenings in bed with a horrible cough and sore throat (sympathy plz), I’ve been cheering myself up by planning the ol’ post-lottery-win shopping list, you know how it is!
Last month I picked up a couple of new L’Oréal products to try and nail that flawless base before spring kicks in. During a bit of a sesh in Boots (you know how it is) I grabbed the Infallible Total Cover Concealer Palette as well as the Nude Magique Cushion Foundation, which I’d read some great things about. For those of you who don’t know, I’m off to New York in a few weeks. I know I’ve been banging on about it A LOT recently (because I’m really flippin’ excited) but it really is one of my all time favourite places and I’m so desperate to get back there! Most of the trip is being planned around two things – where to eat and where to shop – and shock horror, my number one destination (probably number 2, 3 and 4 too…) on the list for shopping is Sephora. Here are the things I’m currently lusting after, although no doubt when I’m faced with all the makeup goodies in store I’ll be changing my mind… Continue reading “What’s On My Sephora Shopping List?”
I’m as bad as all you other beauty obsessed out there and often find myself buying into pretty packaging and big blogger recommendations when it comes to makeup, especially new releases. So I thought I’d start a little series on here, something a bit different to the usual current favourite format, and let you in on my all time loves; the products I buy time and time again and always have in my makeup collection to fall back on when I give into that new big launch which turns out to be nowhere near as good as everyone is making out!
First up: foundations…
Despite the whole Christmas thing happening and the fact it’s January and I should no doubt be trying to recoup some of the excessive December spending, I’ve found a few new beauty faves recently (and fallen back in love with a couple of things from my collection) and it’d be rude not to share, so…
I’m currently feeling just a little bit proud of myself for making it to today – day 12! While it may not seem like the biggest deal to post daily for 12 days straight, for me it was pretty tough. I leave the house at 7am every day and never get home before 7pm either, so finding the time can be difficult and I’m glad I stuck with it! Thanks for sticking with me while I find my feet with this. I hope you’ve all had the happiest Christmas, with lots of food, fizz and all of your favourite people!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Can’t quite believe how quickly it’s come around, although I know we all say that every year…
Firstly I’ll apologise for how late I’m posting this. I have driven home to see my family today and then obviously that meant I ate then napped all afternoon. Better late than never though I guess!
Victoria aka In The Frow is an actual doctor of fashion. That means we can all trust her fashion hints and tips completely. She also has the best hair, always has impeccable makeup (total highlighter goals) and her YouTube channel is also really good fun. She’s definitely one of the best out there!
Hannah regularly posts some of the best affordable fashion and lifestyle content. While I am pretty obsessed with all the luxury fashion blogging going down right now, I haven’t yet found that job paying £50k a month and therefore a bit of asos, Topshop and Zara inspiration is a much more realistic read for me. She nails the 20-something female voice and her writing will make you want to laugh, rethink your life AND go on a shopping spree, probably all at once.
